The Trine Oracle is a modern divination system. Three coins, each with two sides: one gold, one silver, one bronze. 

The Trine Oracle is designed as a divination tool that is incredibly simple, but can also go deep. At its heart, the Trine Oracle is very simple. Three coins, each with two sides. Six symbols, eight combinations. From there, you can layer more and more complexity into how you read the coins.

While the coins are the most iconic element of the system, their meanings are open and fluid and are intended for you to add and expand on their interpretations over time. 

The coins should work in concert with the interpretations you develop, the surface they are read on, and the intuition that you will bring when you read them, acting as a lens for your intuition.

The more you use it, the deeper it goes.

HOW THEY WORK

Hold the coins in your hand, and let them drop — one at a time or all at once. Now you can start to interpret them. What order did they fall? Where have they landed? How have they combined?

This system is designed to be very personal. Yes, you can start by reading the interpretations in the instruction booklet, but as you explore, you'll be guided by your intuition — and you'll develop your own relationship with the coins and what they mean. 

The coins can also be worn — together or separately — on the cord necklace that is included with each set. But you can also combine the cord and the coins together to create spaces that can be used like a spread similar to tarot, giving you even more depth and variety to your reading. 

THE INSPIRATION

Unlike the Tessera Oracle — which came through as a very clear vision from the beginning — the Trine Oracle has taken its time to come into being.

I first had the idea for the Trine Oracle while browsing in an antique shop where I came across a set of antique coins. I loved them. The weight of them. The patina. They felt charged with something.

Later I learned about the concept of Trines in Astrology — the harmonious alignment of two celestial bodies at a 120-degree angle, that signifies positive energy and good outcomes — this idea found its way into the coins. I wanted to use the Trine Oracle to help people bring this sense of alignment and positive energy into their divination practice. The coins are here to help you connect with that sense of flow and positive energy, just like a trine would in astrology.

And, of course, I wanted to create something simple, personal, and fun. That aim is at the heart of every divination tool I create.

I want anyone, anywhere, to feel like they can do this. You don't need to learn a complicated system or memorize anything. I just want to make divination accessible to people, with a simple tool that helps you connect to your intuition, whenever you feel the pull.

✶ THE GOLD COIN ✶ 

The Gold Coin represents perspectives and the opportunities that come from shifting them. The bird in the sky and the fish in the sea both see the world differently than we do. These perspectives are very different — in the air and under the waves — but both hold profound insights, opportunities, and potential.

The Bird invites you to spread your wings and soar to new heights, embracing your innate capacity for imagination and innovation. 

The Fish asks you to explore the depths of yourself and your potential. Where the Bird asks you to see the whole picture, the Fish asks you to fully immerse yourself and understand deeply.

✶ THE SILVER COIN ✶ 

The Silver Coin embodies the art of changing, the balance between intuition and emotion, enabling you to tap into your subconscious. Silver symbolizes the internal world — your dreams and intuition. Silver speaks to the transformation of the soul and the ability to shed that which you have outgrown.

The Snake symbolizes the realm of dreams and healing, representing qualities of rebirth, renewal, and regeneration. The venom of the snake can be a dangerous weapon, but it can also be a powerful tool for healing. 

The Frog embodies transformation and the subconscious, representing the hidden realms of your innermost self.

✶ THE BRONZE COIN ✶ 

Bronze is the most tangible of the three coins, and encompasses both the challenges we face and the external events that shape our experiences. The Bronze coin represents the balance between wisdom and passion, emphasizing the balance between intelligence and instinct.

The Fox symbolizes intelligence, cunning, adaptability, and cleverness. Trust your instincts, think on your feet, and find creative solutions to challenges that come your way. 

The Rabbit embodies passion, creation, love and connection. This side of the coin invites you to connect with your innermost desires, embrace your passions, and tap into your creative energy.

Four reading mats are provided with the Trine Oracle, and they each have a different number of zones incorporated into their designs to provide you with a variety of reading options. Choose the best one for your readings, and use them until you are comfortable enough to create your own reading spaces.
